'School Britannia' - 'Cardigan's Corner Shop'

School Britannia is a poetry scheme for schoolchildren across the UK, Channel Islands and Gibraltar looking at where they live.

This poem is by Kayleigh in Cardigan.

The animation is by Flora Martyr. Flora is a freelance animator, moving image artist and photographer based in Lancashire. She predominantly works using the rotoscope technique, bridging the gap between live action film and animation. In 2018 she graduated with a distinction from an MA in Graphic Design, with her project outcome being a factual animation about the stigma that surrounds males who suffer from eating disorders. She also runs the animation production company Dot Dot Dash Dot.

This film will be available on demand on Sky Arts from midnight on 25th March 2019.
