'Postcard from the Future- Scotland' by Al Kennedy

50 years from now, what will the UK look like? Four respected wordsmiths wrote and performed monologues for us from the perspective of a post Brexit Britain in 2069. Check out the other Postcards from the Future for England, Wales,and Northern Ireland.

It was performed at The Pit at the Barbican on 23rd February as part of the Art 50 fesitval. The full performance will be available here on Wednesday 3rd April.

A. L. Kennedy was born in Dundee. She writes prose for adults and children, along with non- fiction, drama, essays and journalism. She has also worked in stand up comedy. Her books are translated into over 20 languages and she has won various awards in various countries. Her piece is written from post-Brexit Scotland in a changed political and natural ecology. There are wolves. They eat people. And that’s okay.
